Dear Beast,

I am an incomplete melody
But still I’m ready to sing to you.
Each time you are in anger
Creates a stir within me too.
I know it is uneasy
Swimming in your darkness.
Sensing your fear
Know that we’re in this together.
We live far from beauty
All we have is us.
But it’s all the meaning, purpose
We will ever need.
I will commit mistakes,
I may disappoint you in time
But I promise, dear Beast,
I will not leave your side, never.
Winter is here;
You’re starting to shiver.
Let’s sit by the fireplace
Be warm and safe, as I tell you a story.
No, don’t cry Beast,
I am all yours, forever and more.
Death is far from you
As long as I am near.
Love is all I see in you,
Love for only you is all that’s in my heart.
