Debt Poem by Violet Val

Debt

Rating: 4.8

This cage I call consciousness
Reminds me everyday
Of mistakes I have yet to pay

This awareness tries its best
To decipher a way;
To get this old soul some rest

More Sinner than a Saint
I loiter among mortals
Who like me are drowning in their reality

Day and night
Can 'it' be made right?
I walk, shouting in my ear every mistake
I have ever made

It only gets stronger here. I felt the force behind this. The message is couldnt be any clearer. At odds with self and seeking 'sanctification'. This is a work of genius. Carry on.10/10

We question what we do through life, its good for the soul to reflect, it allows us in time to move on. Its finding the key to the restraints thats the hard bit. Great piece
