Decades Now Lie Between You And Me (Refrain Stanza)

Decades now lie between you and me,
to my heart you do bring tranquillity
where a thousand miles keep us apart
but you are in my life and in my heart
where I trust in God for what shall be
but when you call on the phone
then I am no more alone
and in thoughts I remember of you a memory
to my heart you do bring tranquillity
