Deep, Deep, Too Deep Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Deep, Deep, Too Deep

After the vesper
The dark of night
Deepened with storm
With tempest:
Trembled the village
Tossed in their beds
The restless villagers
Centuries ago,
Centuries ago, my Monsignor.
