Deep Water Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Deep Water

Deep water

Deep water
May take your care
And drawn to the bottom
If you use no wisdom

The calm waters are dangerous
They shall deceive in many ways
Lull you in believing that they are not deep
And finally pull you down

Keep attraction
But no close relation
Just stay
Away from bank

Water is our life line
And forms it as part of divine feeling
We are thankful to the rain god
For pouring water on field and road

Whole of the earth is dependant
And present
Lively scene
When rainbow is seen from distance

Deep Water
