deep within this soul of mine
theres something waiting to be defined
a child lost within the storm
holding herself just to stay warm
the bangs she hears throughout the night
make her shiver in pain and fright
the storm that shakes her rattling heart
slowly and carefully tears her apart
the footprints left deep within
from the cruel ones who commited a sin
the tracks that lay there on the field
are those that she prays can be healed...
