To me love is just a waste of time
why get settled if you know its gonna end
why make love poems when they do rhyme
but they never make any sense
why take a giant leap
into the arms of some one you think you trust
just to find that it wont work out
and you fall to your knees
begging over and over
but you shouldnt give up all hope
because i know out there is some one
feeling the same pains as you are
crying the same lonely tears
drinking the same ol coke
wondering the same ol things
so dont give up
because there is always that one person
who can make you smile when your mad
make you laugh when your crying
make you jump when you cant stand on your feet
there is always some one out there
dont ruin it over some dinky arguments
dont throw it all away
bc trust me in the end you will pay
tell me does the hurt that one you loved
equal out to the LOVE that one who hurt you
youll have to choose or you wont go no where
youll have to stand tall
dont let any one trip you to fall
speak up let them know your there
show them that you really do care
bc its not worth giving up
all i ever wanted to do was cry cry cry
because he just kept telling me bye
i didnt want it to end
and neither did he
but he needs his own life
so i let him be
the love that you shared with that one person
will be in your heart forever
there will always be love
and other boys to think of
your never alone
thats no excuse
just follow your heart
and see what it leads up to....
