Defend us

Not only defend us
but strengthen us with the trust
along with the self confidence
"never to feel alone and tense"

make our heart a temple or church
to search
for divine refuge
to take the huge humanitarian task

let the devil not take over
our simple and honest cover
to commit us in unjust drive
and make us liable with weak resolve to survive

if no entry is given to heaven
I am not desperately driven
but hell is never for asking
as my conduct is well meant for tasking

give me common sense
to realize the substance
of being good follower
and real sympathizer
