Unfolding its petals

Deliciously retracing
The lifeline of one's years
The windswept paths once taken
How right to treasure them

Without warning a smile
Spills onto lips the way joy
Often arrives unannounced
And illuminates the corners of the mind

The silver lining always glowing
How grand to be so uplifted
The past and present melding into a
DELECTABLE BLEND
