Determination Poem by Taiwo Obafemi

Determination

I woke up this morning,
I discovered what I need is not money,
As many have it in thinking,
Oh! I must wake up from dreaming,
And start making my earnings,
To be among the nominees,
I must work upon my writings,
To make my poetry exciting,
To make my rhyming interesting,
So that people will not be boring,

Now! I determine to be outstanding,
In all my dealings,
And to always be minding,
Of bringing something out of nothing,
Using my brain in all publishing,
Keeping myself floating in all seasons,
Applying all forms of counseling,
To make my work ranking,
And this is my findings,
Never to allow my living,
To jeopardize my ending.
