Been a long time
When I thought hope was gone
When I tried to be but never be
No faces to smile with
No people to share with
People said no wealth in me
People said no future in me
Shame was tagged in me
Loneliness the order of the day

However, there was a day
Yes! A turning point
The day I met Him
He told me I got hope
He told me I got the future
He told me it is well
I never knew myself until I found Him
A friend indeed!

This is the aftermath of all
I posses fame, honour and joy
Oh! I see everything good for me
I saw the blue sky
I saw the bright future
I saw my blue print as testimonies
I can gladly say to myself fortunate
Hallelujah! Glory be to JESUS
Who has given me victory
