The guide that guards
A feeling of light on life's path
washing down like a bath
Then clothing from shoes to hat
Making impression a glue or repellant
The feel of detection
Alongside power of discernment
The pair dissuading destruction
With the force embedded in comprehension
Strength without weakness
Bridge without crevice
The duo do suffice
An army puts armor on the outside
These gifts are possessed on the inside
More than protection from attacks on the Physical
Even reimbursing the and through the spiritual
The Lord's salt of preservation
One that must become our possession
Residing in our core
piercing the top soil, soft soil, sub soil
Reaching the in depth from the surface
Boring evil, affirming truth, certifying just
Wanting more to thaw
Ice, sand, block, cement it dissolves; coated or not
A composition for apprehension
Gripping lie at it's jaw
Forging truth ahead with awe
Putting the presence of evil into hand cuffs
Setting free the aroma of light
Darkness comprehends it not
Like a sword it attacks and defends
Like a teeth it consumes and keeps
Like the eye lash and lid shuts darkness and opens to light
What gifts in the Lord's gift bag.
