Do not tell my lover
That I have feelings for another
Fair like my maiden, there is no other
But to my stress I must confess
I have feelings for another
My maiden, be the beauty of words
For they are far mightier then thousands of swords
The other, be music and the occasional melody
For lovely and wonderous she will always be
But do not tell my lover that I have fellings for another
Always a conflict between one or the other
Or perhaps I am wrong
Believing that the written word is different from the spoken song
Perhaps they are two sides of the same coin
Perhaps they come from the same loins
Perhaps it is true
I was never in love with another
Finally it is due
Art, beauty and emotions
Those are my lovers...
