Loosing A Friend Poem by Gabriel Joel

Friend, I always seem to find you by my side

Even at the most difficult of times

Although find this strange I do not

My mind is puzzled why would you leave when you I sought



Friend, you say you care, but you act as if you dont mind

How could you look at me and simply lie

Tears holding them back I fought

All because more I want



Friend, my heart breaks as I find

That I lost you from my side

No good can do my thoughts

For my heart now remains in chains and locks.



Friend, if you wish to leave without a goodbye

And replace me for another surprise

Then know you held my heart

At least for the most part.
