Don't judge me because,
I am different,
Or special.
Don't disrespect me because,
I don't follow your words
Or lie to your face.
Do not judge me
On my looks,
My fails.
For I do not ride on rails.
I ride my own way.
A way no other person chooses.
And if you choose to judge me
Judge me on my
Tries,
And thoughts.
Love me for who I am
And who I plan to be.
A wonderful poem. Never let anyone rob you of the pride you feel for your individuality.
Unforunately we live with prejudice, breaking this stigma begins by educating man to be compassionate. By treating someone different as 'invisible' is hurtful, No, it's a sin. To me its like having green eyes not blue, being tall not short..we are all different and that makes the world we live in interesting. Written from the heart - I am deeply touched. - Cindy
don't follow your words Or lie to your face.......................beautiful exposition of stance innate, justv as soldiers marches over the vanquished, yet wrought passionate ingenious and introspective too,10++, thanks for sharing as when invited, may God bless you...
This is a very heartfelt and emotional piece, Kyrsten. What you say here in these lines is soooooooooo true. I don't judge people by the way they look, live, talk, walk, or even by the color of their skin, or religious affiliation, nor do I judge anyone for their sexual preferences (as long as they are not child molesters, or other criminal sexual predator) , nor do I judge a person for their sexual identity or even their disability. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing this with us. Love & hugs, Barbara
