Dont Quit Fighting? Poem by misty love

he tries everyday. he fights the addiction away. he talks to god. he dont need the addiction the drugs are gone. he wants a better life for his wife and kids.that small family would give up anything to help him.his body hurts his hands are shakeing. the taste of the drugs flow back through. he picks his hands up ready to fight.the family looks him in the eyes seeing that he is strong enough to fight. he promises that he wont quit fighting. he wants to be clean so bad that he starts crying. he has a good feeling that he is going to be clean for the rest of his life. he has no idea how happy he makes his kids and his wife. he is the best dad any kid could have. he messes up another time. but the small family stays together. no one gets left behind or forgotten. the family has so much love for eachother. forever and ever they will be together. they will help him fight, but they know it will never happen again. this man is my life. this man is my hero also my dad.
