Doubts Emerge Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Doubts Emerge

A perception does vary
It is necessary
Everybody can not be expected to be religious
Bold, god fearing and pious

Religion is just medium
To pray with minimum
Of guilt and feel close
To the almighty and repose

Who has seen the hell?
Or for that matter heaven
Good oratory can not influence the masses
No one needs any special classes

Not all people can have vision
To remain with no confusion
The life and mission is clear
They need not live with any fear

Where humanity fails
Certain doubts emerge at the tail
We all think rubbish
Till the life is finished

We may not follow traditional customs
But can disregard them seldom
It is faith and belief
That provides certain relief
