Dr. Who Man After Ogden Nash The Termite Et Al Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Dr. Who Man After Ogden Nash The Termite Et Al

Wild Rex - Tyrannosaurus - strode
cold-blooded ‘long Cretaceous road,
hot-headed kin to human child
explains man_kind so meek and mild.

Each stage repeats age old deceits,
from gnash to Nash - far cry from Keats -
posh cheats cosh poor, their nosh pre-empted,
weak meet defeats, flash cash is tempted
to wheel and deal for meal receipts,
boss bonus booms, from tax exempted.
Food banks, found wanting, alms accepted
with open arms eyes meet, eye meats.

Wild Rex - Tyrannosaurus - strode
cold-blooded ‘long Cretaceous road,
hot-headed kin to human child,
that's why warm-blooded man's so mild.

Each stage repeats the same deceits,
from gnash to Nash weak eats, defeats,
nosh brash, posh cash, cosh, bash, if tempted,
polite policed, write's rights pre-empted.
