Dreams Poem by Nicolaa Gallardo

Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Dreams that once haunted me with their melodies.

Never understanding the words of their tunes.

Mocked by the notes of love.

Suddenly breaking out into landscapes.

Once a dreamer that could not feel

Turned into an artist hidden away.

The light never shone brighter than today.

Only the stars that lingered off into the night.

With the atmosphere, it happened.

What was once a blank canvas turned into a colorful picture.

With colors that defined every bit of the dreamer.

Only to understand when studied.

Mysteries that held the words captive.

For a thousand was never enough for the dreamer

To infinite joys, they did smile.

Finally, something that the dreamer could hold close..

A dream that kept her smile.

Hello Mr. Romeo! Thank you for reading! Your feedback is indeed very lovely. I do admire the work on your poems and that brilliance and art are two great things you can put together. The passion at most burns when you truly desire. Keep writing, Nicole.
