Dreams Every Night
every night I have dreams -
dream about you, dream about us,
dream about the life we never had, the days which rolled away like sapphire waves ~
dream about the ethereal childhood,
dream about the tempestuous youth, full of amber hopes and tangerine aspirations,
also the vermilion longings, never realized!
wish to return to that serene dreamland,
wish to savour those tiny pieces of pristine happiness,
which seem so unattainable now,
long ardently to repair the mistakes.
never knew - some mistakes are irreversible
there is no turning back!
Dream, Dream,
are you only illusions,
scattered magenta hued stories in a little girl's imagination!
tip-toeing under a mysterious veil in my sleep,
and making me believe in the eternity of love!
Part 2 But, then comes the realisation: “” some mistakes are unrepairable, There is no turning back! “”
Hi Malabika, Loved this fantastic poem on love. Rather, a love of childhood. “Want to return to that dreamland, Want to savour those tiny pieces of happiness, Which seems so unattainable now, Want to fix the mistakes. “ Looking back, everybody wishes, he or she could undo the mistakes commiied and relive the life doing it right and achieve whatever was missed in REAL life.
