Dreamy girl
Which way you tread;
Imperceptible by my mind
And you leave ripples
On your quiet surface
But in a moment disappears
I trample on it and go far
Only to trace you nowhere
Alone I am sitting here
And in vain your looks I wonder
In the slightest breath of breeze
Your dark and curly hair flutter
Like waterfall cascading
From a mountain-crest river
And twinkle, blue eyes dewy and dear
Crisp nose and coral mouth
And a chin connoting the dimple within
By all, it appears to me, you are so rare
Now to a far distant land
You are gone, I don’t know where
And I am running after you
Like a parched river
To warm my body
And rest by your shore
Like a single drop of rain
Seeking its resting place
And its destiny with you, my dear………
A beautiful Dreamy girl you have portrayed. Flow of poem is beautiful. Very pleasant to read. Loved reading it.
Many many thanks.......Gibson......for your valuable suggestion and I agree.....this piece needs a quiet ending and editing as well to sound fair and fitting.........I am humbled.......
Your Dreamy Girl is a lovely poem that needs to be finished. All the ideas are there but which to change, to edit, to leave out. You must decide otherwise your work is not complely finished. And that might be a shame. Best Wishes
