Drought in Mind

It is a lake
Dried up
By the drought
Creaked and evaporated
Poetic soul

Lights with thunder
Sky is threatened
Signs, words and metaphors
Conceiving in clouds
Darken the mind

Waken up pen
Searches for
To have a blank paper
To a poetic rain

Stirring up the mind
Ill grown cyclone
Aborts rains

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
