Drown Poem by Tatianna Rei Moonshadow

Drown

I will forever save you
I will not let you Drown
You can let go of all the angels
That you've kept hanging round
You can let go of the sound
Of that sudden crash
And you can forget how it feels
When our voices seem to clash
I will not forsake you
I will not leave you there to Drown
Reach up and take my hand
For I will never leave you so far down
Make sure you hold on tight
Promise me you won't let go
The roles here are reversed
But you will never know
You are saving me
So much more than I am saving you
You save me with the memories
Of all that we have made it through
You will never see it
You will never open your eyes that wide
But you are pulling me from the water
Saving me a little more each time
Drag me from this sea
In which I cannot help but Drown
As long as you do I promise
That I'll never let you fall back down
