Drugs Don'T Lie Poem by Tatianna Rei Moonshadow

Drugs Don'T Lie

There is no dosage of pills high enough to make me forget
But they do get me out of my mind
It's easier for me to pretend that you don't exist
So tonight I'll smoke these blue eyes blind
I pray the drugs will carry me
And wrap me in a scarf of powder white
Before my eyes stop watering and see again
And I'm forced to inhale another line
You told me once that I was hopeless
That I'll be an addict until I die
But I'm not an addict, I'm a druggie
And unlike you the Drugs Don't Lie
