Dying Great Lakes Poem by Ima Ryma

The North America Great Lakes,
A huge freshwater resource that
Is, because of human mistakes,
A slowly dying habitat.
Human caused climate change does warm
The lake waters, impacting life
Of plants and animals with harm,
Causing the ecosystem strife.
Pollution continuously
Is dumped into the Great Lakes so
Life threatening dangers there be.
No longer does 'fresh' water flow.

The Great Lakes are in danger great.
Human habits will change too late.
