DYLAN THOMAS

(died from alcohol abuse)

Genius took a short hard way
Miming a drunken clown to amuse
Playing the whisky poet to perfection.

Fearing his muse was lost
Alcohol consoled
Soaking imagination barren.

Alcohol sometimes does help to inspire great artistes... but its overuse is the ultimate price. An excellent piece.
