Eggs Poem by Jon Yttri

Eggs

The egg:
The egg can be brown, white, or tan.
You can cook it in a pot, stove, or pan.
You can boil it, you can broil it.
You can fry it, you can dye it.
You can fix it, you can mix it.
You can swirl it, you can hurl it.
You can prepare it, you can pair it.
But before I take that food home.
I ask, "Was the chicken free to roam? "
