Travel Poem by Jon Yttri

Rating: 5.0

Travel, travel, wherever you go.
Spending your money like h20.
Seeing the monuments, tasting the food.
Trying to limit what you can't include.
Filling your suitcase up to the brim.
Carrying your luggage, no need to go to gym.
Reading what to see in Paris, Rome, Vienna.
Discussing trip with family, neighbors, and bartender.
Taking cab to airport, so you can depart.
Landing in another, can't tell them apart.
Taking lots of pictures, one every few yards.
This way can save money on postcards.
Learning words for "hotel, ""towel, " "reservation."
Wishing you were in an English-speaking nation.
Book has lots of tips on how to save on euros,
Pounds, Swiss francs, and pesos.
So readers can be heroes.
Instead of concert hall, listen to music on the green.
Just eat from a vendor, instead of dining haute cuisine.
Do not lose the book, without the book you're lost.
Book can save you money,
If you don't include book's cost.
When it's time to leave,
And you must retrace your tracks,
You're glad to go to work
Where you can relax.
