Elements Of Night
Golden star in the night,
glowing gem burning bright,
let your twinkling light
lull me to sleep tonight.
Ivory moon in the sky,
cast your light from way up high,
the end of night is nowhere nigh,
so let soft white light shine where I lie.
Blowing wind crisp and cool,
the nights be silent without you,
cold blows rattle the town askew,
a frosty night lulled by your tune.
