Elite Wealth Fabricates Poverty Lies Poem by Terence George Craddock

Elite Wealth Fabricates Poverty Lies

Rating: 5.0

elite wealth fabricates
implausible beliefs
to justify indifference

who believes
the poor are envied
their poverty

a congressman says
elite American poor are
envied their poverty

his hype press release
'America’s richest congressman says
poor in the US are ‘envy of the world’'

are we inspired by the man
who says poor in the US
are ‘envy of the world’?

This statement
the words the belief belongs
to America’s richest

congressman
who shall remain
nameless

but believes American poor are
'have been made some what
the envy of the world', envied

throughout an entire world
because they are American
poor living on cruel streets

must have been snorting
heroin cocaine or smoking
his own pipe ego stroking
