Elusive Threads Poem by Fiona Davidson

Elusive Threads

Dancing across the heavens
Searching for my heart
Starlight to lead my steps
From one cloud to the next
Reaching to grab the comets tail
To speed past the planets
Still seeking out the final piece
Elusive threads avoid my fingers
Shimmering as they flash by
Slipping through my memories
To float inside my minds eye
Those emotions that well up
Inside my raging soul pushed
Back down into the shadows
Until my spirit is again released

OMG Fi this is so beautiful. So surreal and introspective. Starlight, star bright, I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight. I used to always say that wne I was growing. Every time I saw the north star I would make my wish. But you know what I found out though? Some wishes aren't granted right away. There is a test from the powers that be in the heavens that put us through a raging set of emotional trials. If we come out of them at a certain still whole, then our wish will be granted. You have done very well this and it is such a cute poem. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing sis. Love & hugs, Barbara

Fi... what a marvellous dance, you needle us with such great imagery... that I don't think 'elusive' really gets a change.. captured brilliantly.. as always, aroha Deana xx
