Empower Me Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I have no courage
To stand fast and manage
Raise voice against outrage
But feel everything as bird in cage

O god, you sent us on earth as free bird
With the sky as field to roam and fly skyward
With powerful wings to spread message of liberty and freedom
It was nice move on your part and was considered as wisdom

I feel no helplessness
As I bear brave face
When I feel your blessings
As of high importance with no missing

I felt happy when found tremendous energy
To stand against injustice as wished by an almighty
It provided an opportunity to serve needy people
Who were crushed under the burden of struggle?

I believe in granting forgiveness
For their cruel part in just race
They knew not for what they were doing
Killing their own people for becoming king

Please forgive me god for not been able to
Stand against injustice and prove true
Trust them and mould to correctness
Alas! It is proving as hollowness

Empower me for not committing any error
People should not be feeling it as terror
Grant me power to forgive with lots of grace
So that I can live here with honor in any case
