Empty Poem by Gary Excell

Empty

Loneliness in realising your bed is empty when you sleep,
your phone is silent without a bleep,
your family never seems to want you around,
and the others you contact you don’t hear a sound,
no wonder it feels always heavy inside,
the only thing I can do is simply run and hide.
