Encouragement Nourishes Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Encouragement Nourishes

Encouragement nourishes.
Like rain sustains life on Earth.
And words to be spoken.
Heard to make each day lived,
Worth the doing of moving forward.
With it done to leave behind,
Anything found one finds...
That only remains temporarily.
Yet seems to stay,
Beyond time and patience.
Too long prolonging,
One's tolerance to give.
To pray with faith,
Not to restrict to limits.
Then what comes to nourish,
With encouragement to have it heard.
Are those words just as refreshing,
As the rain to observe,
Coming to replenish...
The needs to feed and please,
All living things that inhabit the Earth.
With this done to witness,
How God works.
In mysterious unexplainable ways.
