The end od days is drawing near,
Time together is up,
As I step closer to the edge,
I have these words to say,
Things changed for the worse,
You became a stranger,
It was your choice, that I accept,
But I hate the way we are,
Civility costs nothing,
A simple hello would do,
Instead we choose to ignore ourselves,
Denying the fact it's true.
Just as long as you know,
Your importance to me,
I'll always remember your smile,
But for my sanity, and my life,
I have to walk a mile,
I don't take the back the things I said,
They'll be forever true,
And as my personality is destroyed,
It was because of you,
I'll never regret a single thing,
I know you understand whym
The only thing making me ponder is,
We never had a proper try,
So in the end I wish you well,
The best for all your days,
And should anyone ever ask me of you,
I'll always sing your praise.
