Estranged (Snap Shot Poem) Poem by Melvina Germain

Estranged (Snap Shot Poem)

I wanted to feel close to you,

yes, I sat in your back yard.
It was a cool rainy eve, O
about 9: pm I believe. I waited
hoping for a glimpse but you
didn't crack the shade. Now

I sit and ponder wondering

why I was betrayed.
