Eternal You Sleep Poem by sujata kumar

Eternal You Sleep

Rating: 5.0

Eternal you sleep
In slumber deep.

Calls ring aloud, wake o wake!
Oh! Give a big shake.

To all our calls you give a deaf ear
Can nothing make you steer?

Behind your smile the tear
Could always be felt so near.

Love ye spake
And love ye gave.

Peace in thine life
None, save throes in rife.

You lie in peace
A smile you wear, still, on your lips.

The halo, an angel in death,
You have been blesseth.

Alight thee the chariot
In the kingdom Bright

Stars abound
The cradle, the moon.

Lord, the Almighty rocks,
Angels flock.

No more tears to bear
Everlasting paradise thee share.
