Even Paradise Will Be Forgotten

EVEN PARADISE WILL BE FORGOTTEN

Even Paradise will be forgotten
And those times of our life
In which we most lived
Will go down like the rest
To the world where there are no longer dreams-

Even Paradise and those moments of Ecstasy in Love
Will be lost
And no effort at Remembrance
Truly bring them back again.

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
