I can feel your love hitting my heart
As I pen this song
I can feel your strong undiluted love
Beating sweet rhythm in my heart.

Love that has transcended decades
Through the beautiful landscapes of Tede and Otu
Love that is still alive and kicking
Filling my heart with sweet songs

That night when you asked Mama
“Why did you not tell me my boy is here?
I knew no disease could kill the fire of love.

I remember as a freshman in school
You followed me on the first day
Making sure I felt your unconditional loving presence
As I launched into life



Such love you have given
Is what you must get from me

Ayanlade, even when the curtain falls,
I know our love will live forever
Because you are in me and I am in you.
