Evening Poem by Danielle Mari Nidea

Evening

I am the in-between
Of work and of peace
Something you've always seen
In trouble, in ease.

I am the siren
For all to unite
Those who are broken
Rejoice at my sight.

I am the captain
Of the all-united sea
The eyes are my brethren
Whom I set free.

I am the evening
Of night and of day
Of hunger and filling
Of will and of way.
