Ex Libris Poem by Frank Freimuth

Ex Libris

You wore a heavy coat when you arrived
as if you feared my fervent love;
quite instantly it was removed
and my first kiss was almost rough.

Having waited for so long
I now possessed what I desired
and I stroked tenderly your body,
beneath the linen dress I so admired.

I would not miss a thing of those that came
and there is none for which I am to blame;
I trusted all your wisdom and your arts
and read you through - up to your secret parts.
