Examples before us

How many dictators have been dead?
Who have supported them and followed?
Public might have supported their kind
If they had national interest in mind

People were killed in day light
If they tried to prove them not right
Sometimes they are hanged
And sometimes sent in jail or exiled

We have examples before us
Under duress people expressed their trust
Saddam Hussein* was no doubt cruel dictator
But good for country and well motored

So when they are dead
The respect is not paid
People feel relieved
As they had suffered under misrule

But overall in general
They were good to people
Worked for their welfare
And prospered
