In an ordinary world, we could be
Maybe, perhaps be happy
In a joyous mind frame in my perpetual reality
I sit and ponder and even wonder
Looking out of the window before me
Looking for something that doesn't seem to be
Trying to capture the ordinary
In the palm of my hands
Empty and Callus
I find myself lost
Perhaps, maybe be found
Like an ordinary person in an ordinary world gone so far
Containing multiple emotional hiccups
Releasing true satisfaction
In an unsatisfactory world
In true reality no one should be
Exceptionally upheaved
