Faded Memories Poem by Allen Henriette

Faded Memories

Rating: 2.8

I see your face every time I hear a sad song
As our sacred sun reaches its zenith
Leaving nothing but dust and bones beneath
The faded memories are merely melancholic
All I ever wanted was to see you dancing in the purple rain
Your smile frozen upon my wall in a frame
Now my mind is being overwhelmed with the constant thoughts of lust
When the sake of forgetting you has become a must

A nostalgic approach has been illuminated so well that it defies the importance of remembrances whether harsh or good......10/10
