Fading Poem by Ashley Measimer

As the feelings fade away,
I'll forget you more each day,
But I always think of how things could be
If you'd only cared to stay.

We'll always have the memories and pictures
From the times of you and me,
And I wont know if you think of them
But please don't forget about me.

Through all the tears and flashbacks,
Sometimes I think I should have stayed.
But how could I not have left
When your feelings were fading away?
