Fair Maiden Poem by Mister LPTD

Fair Maiden

Rating: 4.5

The Cold wind breathes, the moon shines bright, the music plays slow, forever through the night.

the story stays the same. the night will play then go, until a girl appeared, the most gorgeous one could know.

fair maiden on the floor, so beautiful god made she. too stunning to have a dance, with a poor old fool like me.

she twists, she turns, she sparkles in the light. She dazzles, she stuns, she dances down the night.

fair maiden on the floor, im as amazed as a man could be. 'fair maiden fair maiden, would you save the last dance for me? '

A well articulated and nicely encapsulated romantic train of thought, nicely penned from the heart. The poem reminded me of the song ' Woman In Red'. Thanks for sharing LPTD. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
