Just once I want to be the princess,
Beautiful and Kind,
Smart and Gorgeous,
The one every prince wants to find.

Just once I want to be the heroine,
Brave and Bold,
My long hair rippling in the breeze,
I burst into freedom; I don’t want to be told.

Just once I want to be someone glamorous,
Someone perfect,
Someone pretty,
A person that’s a leader, she directs.

Just once I want to be in the spotlight
Gathering all the attention
In a positive way
Always the first one mentioned.

I always tend to want to be
The perfect person
However until now I haven’t thought of
Who would like to be me.
