Family Ends And The World Begains

mommy tell me why
you let these things happen
tell me why i dont know
if you can be trusted.
tell me why there are so many times
that i feel i must me a child
let the anger boil over till it come out in a rush
of stomping feet and a big fuss.
tell me why i never see you
and when i do im so full of anger.

daddy tell me why
there are so many things that we
can not cling to
that we can not trust in this place
a place that should be full of love and trust
but to us
is full of disgust.
tell me why you dont trust me
and why you think im so unworthy
tell me all these things so that i can show you
just what is so lovly about me.
how i am a strong though lonly girl
that needs her daddy to help guide her way
and a mommy to sooth her after a long rough day.

can any one tell me
what i stand to gain
by my heart braking loss
a family no more and a world no less
there seems to be less us
and a whole lot more them
we said we would be an old fashioned family and stay close till the end
well this must be the end of all those lovly nights
all those storys and i guess all our fights.

could you tell me what there is
left in this world to gain from having
no family and only the world?
