Far-Reaching Love Poem by Sandra Feldman

Far-Reaching Love

Lovely softness,
That of Love,
Never do we have enough
Of the tenderness of love,
Smooth, white feathers of a dove,
That should never fly away,
But forever inside stay.

Love can save and also heal
Be uplifting, be the seal,
Of perpetual happiness,
Of a life without regrets.

You call this poem FAR REACHING LOVE but the first thing you describe is the closeness with an empathy for our needs which is so rewarding. I can see now that love is far-reaching because once touched by love's gentleness it becomes part of ourlives and WE CARRY ITS COMFORT TO DISTANT PLACES. There are no shadows in this poem: youdescribe a pure moment which the world cannot defile.
