Farewell To Poets Inkwell Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

I bid farewell to ‘Poets Inkwell',
I do, for a while ~ you see,
Not because I have no poems,
But, Financial Hardship has encompassed me.

To post my poems on certain Sites,
Takes money I have not got,
For Fate has dealt me this hand,
And I must accept my Lot.

I'll post my Poems on Free Sites,
A ‘Google' Search will find them anew,
When you search for ‘JGthepoet' on there,
Links to my Poetry ~ you can view.

It's not that I'm not happy here,
Many Friends I've made Worldwide,
But Food for my Table is what I need,
So I can for longer ~ Survive.

I'll write more Poetry ~ day-by-day,
I'll post them on my own Site,
Searches for ‘JGthepoet' will find me Alive,
~ Until ~ I can no longer ~ write.
